Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System offers a variety of treatment options for current members of the military and veterans. With a mental health and substance use program, intensive outpatient program and military sexual trauma program, our multidisciplinary treatment team is prepared to meet your needs as an active duty military member, reservist or veteran.

Mission Wellness: Military Mental Health and Substance Use Program

The Mission Wellness program is designed for active duty military, reservists, National Guard members and veterans experiencing mental health, substance abuse and dual diagnosis issues — particularly those related to combat and stress.

We provide a structured, integrated approach to healing by utilizing evidence-based treatment from a treatment team that understands the unique needs of the military.

Military Intensive Outpatient Program

For just a few hours a day throughout the week, the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System offers mental health treatment designed specifically for military members and veterans that addresses a variety of topics relevant to you.

Visitor Information

  • Visitation times are Mondays from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
  • Visitors should arrive 20 minutes early to check in.
  • Patients are able to have two visitors during the visitation time.
  • Liberal visitation times are available for command, providers and chaplains. We also are flexible with visitation hours for family members who travel a long distance. Please talk with the RN Unit Manager to make accommodations for special visitation.
  • Unfortunately, food from the outside is not allowed. Our dietary department provides a delicious menu for all three meals and also provides snacks on the unit. We also have a certified dietician that will work closely with you and your treatment team to make sure all your dietary needs are met.
